Welcome to Down to Earth Doulas! We help you stay calm and strong during birth and the transition to parenthood. Located in the Seattle area, we serve families birthing in all hospital, birth center and home locations. When you hire us as your birth doulas, you can relax knowing that you will have unconditional emotional support throughout your birth experience. As a certified birth doula team, Down to Earth Doulas helps you stay strong and calm during birth. Our support ranges from quiet words of reassurance between contractions to massage and assistance with more active coping techniques as labor intensifies.

A doula supports mothers and their families in the childbearing months. Down to Earth Doulas attends births at home, birth centers and hospitals in the Seattle area. Our goal is to help you have the birth you want-be it medicated or not, in a tub or on a bed, with doctors or midwives.

Working With Partners

A caring, committed partner provides invaluable support to a laboring mother. A partner, family member or close friend loves you and knows you in ways that no doula can. Depending on our conversations prenatally, we can either be your primary labor support or assist your partner in supporting you. Many times partners feel overwhelmed or nervous during the birth. Others feel confident and prepared. Down to Earth Doulas provides the grounded support you all need to fully appreciate this experience.
